On Saturday June 18, the players from the Zug Flames Hockey Club participated in the Annual Zug Flames golf tournament.
After several weeks of beautiful weather, the heavens opened and dumped monsoon like rains on the Kussnacht Country Club. Armed with appropriate attire and not to be deterred from having a good time, the boys set out for a little competition. Despite several plugged balls, soaked golf shoes and one broken club, a good time was had by all.
Francois Longpre was this year's winner followed by Edgar Hartmans. Bruce Gailey won closest to the pin.
The day ended with a short prize ceremony and a first class dinner at the Clubhouse restaurant.
The ZFHC would like to thank Anders Bofeldt for organizing the tournament and Ernst Tanner of World Trade Perfume for providing the prizes.
